Active telecom equipment such as Microwave Antennas or Radio Antennas are placed on tall structures to maximize signal scattering. Zamil offers a variety of telecom towers for this purpose.

Our intelligently designed towers cater to your needs of setting up sites at any geographical location and minimizing footprint. Our extensive portfolio of towers can be categorized into three types of towers - Self Support towers (which include Ground Based Towers, Roof Top Towers and Shel Towers) , Guyed Masts and Poles (which includes Roof top poles, Wall mounted and Monopoles).

The Towers designed by our design team caters to all the major international standards i.e American, British and Indian standards. ZND follows proven fabrication processes which also adhere to international standards (AISC A7) to ensure top quality towers. Our engineers pay special attention to the tolerance, strength, sizing, clean cutting and galvanization.

ZND makes towers which range from 6 mtr mini tower to 120 mtr ground based tower for multiple windspeeds and choice of loadings. ZND also provides you the option of outsourcing cable and antenna management.

Self Support Towers

Ground Based Towers, Roof Top Towers and Shel Towers are designed for PCS/Cellular and point-to-point communication. They are built on a strong foundation and pose the advantage of maximum environmental protection. These towers are accessorized with antenna mounts, fall arrest safety system, obstruction lighting, anti climb shields, ice shields, safety hoops among other safety features.

Shel Towers

A Shel Tower is a unique ZND concept that integrates a tower on shelter. This approach mitigates the requirement of extending RF, IF cables and cable tray from the tower to the shelter. In addition to the benefits posed by GBT’s and RTT’s, this unique design leads to capex savings. Expandable mast sections, housing up to 4 tenants, reduced site footprint and extended life are other benefits of the Shel Tower.

Poles & Guyed Masts

Poles are fabricated using structural pipes & plates. Various transission and microwave antennas can be connected to the pole. Each pole can be modified according to height and antenna configurations. Guyed Masts are single section vertical towers supported with a set of wires that hold the tower on the ground. This allows the mast to withstand wind at high velocity.

Monopoles

Monopoles are most economical for heights under 180' (55m) and are a viable solution for space limitation problems & rigid zoning codes.

Rooftop Poles

Roof top poles are economical tools for point-to-point data network communication at 2.4 GHz and higher. Such poles are great for limited spaces and can be assembelled and installed quickly with minimal bolted sections.
